Dive Site Description
Travel west from Nelson on Highway 3A about 20 km to the intersection with Highway 6. Turn north on Highway 6 and follow the road to Slocan Lake. This site is located off of the beach at the south end of town. Currently this beach access point is a resort, use caution when diving and carry a flag! Wade into the water, and gradually descend along the bottom. Here you will find wagon wheels, bottles, hand tools and an old canoe just off shore. Silverton was a booming mining town in the 1980's.
