Adams River

Adams River

Dive Site Location

Dive Site Description

This site should be accessed by boat, from Blind Bay Marina travel by boat to the west end of the Main Arm where Adam's River flows into the lake. This is an enjoyable dive when the salmon is spawning. Anchor boat near the mouth of the river, enter the water, and decend to about 10m(30ft), swimming to the bank near the mouth of the river. Here you may find one of the best views to watch the schools of spawning salmon pass by. The best times to dive here would be between mid-September to late October. For more information on this site or many others on Okanagan lake and thruout the interior - pick up your copy of "Diving British Columbia Lakes and Rivers" by Bill Hall at our dive shop.
