"Commando Bay"

This great destination point is named Dunrobin's Bay after L. Race Dunrobin. The bay was used by the British forces as a training ground for a special unit of commandos that would infiltrate enemy lines. When the news of the special army operations in the area became public, was re-named Commando Bay. Due to the nature of its prior use, the bay is riddled with WWII artifacts. The hike through Wild Horse Canyon takes a minimum of 6 hours, so we recommend you boat in. There are three mooring buoys and shelter from north and south winds. Watch out for rock outcrops at the south point of the Bay.
